.: Spring fun!

Poor Hamilton has no chance with this girl in charge! She loves to change his diaper, pat him and sing to him! She also loves to loudly announce "HE'S AWAKE!" (sometimes being the very call that wakes him up)! Last week she said "he smells like a tortilla" so now she keeps calling him her little tortilla! OH MY!

Nellie and I love to sit out on the couch after June Bug goes to bed and hold this little snuggler and watch American Idol! He loves to be swaddled and Kennedy never did so he gets all wrapped up (and truly does look like a tortilla) and snuggles in!

We have been spending LOTS of time in our backyard! . We get so excited when Daddy comes home from work and June Bug likes to run and hide! This weather has just been gorgeous and so weve enjoyed grilling out and the swing set. June Bug is somehow well aware of bugs now which she sometimes calls "lizards" and they are "too scary"...oh my! She does not like to be dirty or wet and she love to wash her hands! She is such a girl but I guess its paying off because we've got the potty thing down now and are so proud to be wearing "big girl panties"!!

Daddy and I took Bug to the Ft Worth zoo and boy did she love it! The weather was perfect and we had so much fun looking at all of the animals and riding the train! Her favorites were the "merrycat" (meerkat) and the "mounkeys". She DID not like the lions who were ferociously growling! She is still talking about it and loves for Nelson to get down on all fours and pretend he is the daddy lion. She'll ask "what does the daddy lion say? and Nelson will growl. She likes for the mommy lion to say "Im getting some sun!"
