February...its party time and the baby isnt even here yet!!!!

SUPER SURPRISED face because I had NO idea this crew was around the corner!

We had a fun little dinner to celebrate my 30th birthday a little on the early side because we had no idea if baby boy would come early or not! Needless to say its a week past my birthday and he's still not here but thats ok because it just gave us time for even more celebrations!

A delicious cake from Steins, yummy mexican food with great friends and a night at the Ritz Carlton makes for a perfect 30th! No need to remember the dreaded tummy bug that also joined us that night and then made its way through the whole family!!!
Im only remembering it with a smile!

June Bug keeps us so entertained. One of her favorite things to do is hide in this lovely pink princess tent (thanks YaYa) and Nellie and I go pretend seeking for her all over the house! At the last minute she pops her little head out with the BIGGEST grin and gets so excited that we found her! She is also very into cereal (so my child..anyone that knows me knows that I could literally live off of cereal, but she likes Daddy's flavors of cereal like Smart Star). Her favorite latest saying is "like this one alot" about anything and everything that she likes! Its so cute! She also is beginning to experiment with the whole potty training thing...meaning she likes to run around "naked booty" or with her hello kitty big girl pants and go in and out of the bathroom a zillion times! shell say "be right back going bano real fast"!! (mmm sounds like a Sugar saying!!)

The snow flurries were amazing here in Dallas..it gave me a much needed taste of wintry Colorado!! I wouldnt want to live in it but it sure was a fun treat for a few days! This was June Bug's preferred place to hang out during the snow...inside where it wasnt "too chilly"!

We got out at Grandaddy's old vintage sled and Daddy took Kennedy for a ride! Later Daddy tried to sled down the hill in the front yard!
We got all bundled up and were so excited to hit the snow! Daddy rolled big snowballs or "meatballs" (she liked it when Maxi threw meatballs at cars) as June Bug called them into a giant snowman! We were such pansy girls out in the cold and I kept telling Nellie that soon he would have a boy to help him with the man load!
We made the eyes of limes, the mouth of bananas, the buttons of grapes and the nose of orange TOOTSIE POPS (thats as close as we get to carrots around here)!!!!!! A very SWEET snowman indeed!

On my actual birthday weekend we had some more fun! This is me turning 30 with my sweet little Valentine girl in my lap while we enjoyed lunch and more cake at my parents's house with our family! I had a fun date with my handsome Valentine the night before, a girls night out at the movies on Friday night, and a dinner date at Cookie and Arthur's place as well.
Of course Sugar makes it all so perfect and festive! Isnt the cake SOOO cute?!?!

I always get so excited on Valentines Day because I love that its a holiday full of LOVE and PINK and RED and ROMANCE! My sweet hubby made it such a wonderful weekend and we enjoyed every second of it together! We had such a special evening at The Park on Henderson after a day of shopping at HP village and a cute lunch at Celebrity Bakery!
We celebrated Sugar's February birthday with the snow and at the Grape! Its been one of our long time favorite places to go! Sugar is holding the doll she gave June for Valentine's Day. Its the new American Girl Doll and June Bug named her "Shirley ToTo" a combination of Shirley Temple and Wizard of Oz...hilarious!!! Shirley ToTo goes with us everywhere now!!! Happy Birthday to our Sugar!!

We have so many February birthdays in our family and were about to add another one...if he gets here before March! Three birthday cakes and lots of cousins later at Gran and Grandaddy's house we wrap up another party!
