Disney and more!

Nelson dressed in Papa's white doctor's coat when we went to visit him at his office! This was after our very first sonogram that Elizabeth my dad's nurse did for us really early on!!! Such a fun sneak peek!

Dinner with UT girlfriends...so great to see everyone and catch up!
We went to the galleria with our besties Anna Kate and Wilson. The kids loved playing together in the play area! Getting a picture of all three of them together was a little tricky!
We went to Barton Creek for my dad's birthday which is July 4th! It was such a fun weekend filled with LOTS of pool time, fun Austin restaurants, movies at night, fireworks and enjoying celebrating PAPA (who loved riding his bike through the hills)!

We would swim and swim and then every afternoon June Bug would go up to the room and take her nap! Nelson was so sweet to go up with her (and watch some serious movie marathons) while I would stay poolside and soak up the rays! Maxi said Im like a shark because I would look around the pool for an interesting family or people to talk to and then make the attack and start a conversation! He appreciated my sharking skills when I helped him scope out some girls his age who he thought were cute...not that he needed my help!

A fun birthday dinner at a downtown hangout!!
Snuggling in bed with Sugar!

So if you haven't been to Disneyland you are missing out! It truly is a magical place! Everything is old fashioned with popcorn vendors pushing little carts on the street, Mary Poppins and characters dancing all around, rides that are classic and have been there for years, Cinderella's castle which gets smaller every time I see it, and a little old lady that has been cutting out silhouettes for a decade! I went to Disney World when I was little and I couldn't wait to take Kennedy this year! She LOVED it! Her little eyes just took everything in and didn't miss a beat.  She was so happy and enjoyed the rides, the characters, walking everywhere, the huge fountain, the fireworks and most of all Jo Do and Emmy!
Its a small world...my most FAVORITE ride!

Watching fireworks outside the castle! Some nights Kennedy would be in bed so you could open your hotel curtains and see the fireworks while putting the TV on the firework channel which played coordinating music! These are the details that arent overlooked at this place!
The ELECTRICAL Parade...coolest thing you've ever seen! You go at night and find a seat on the paved streets and watch the magic of Mickey and all of the characters come by in a parade of lights and floats! Its always my favorite thing to do!
Waiting for the parade to begin......

Comparing muscles! I think Sugar wins! We went to get mexican food in Downtown Disney and the kids got balloons designed as animals and swords! Everyone loved to be with Sugar because she was the queen of finding collector's pins which was the highlight of the week! You would buy or trade pins of Disney characters and fill up your lanyard! We all came back with lanyards filled with pins...except for Grandaddy of course! Im not kidding these people are SERIOUS about their pins!

This was a little boat pond right by our hotel on Disney property and the kids just loved it! you could drive the boats all around...very entertaining for kids and adults alike!

We pretty much swam every afternoon!

Lego Land was filled with legos...literally everything was made of legos! Papa and his favorite Einstein below...

Laguna beach was a fun getaway out of the Disney bubble!! We enjoyed relaxing, shopping and playing in the sand! Gran and Grandaddy had their own special day with Kennedy back at Disney! They ate pie and played in the fountain! Meanwhile...

Laguna Beach dinner on the patio!

We had a girl's afternoon where we went to see the shows like Honey I Shrunk the Audience and the boys went to ride the BIG rides!

Its a Bug Life 4D! Watch out for those stingers that buzz you in the back of your chair!
Rainforest Cafe with JoDo and Emmy
Cinderella's Magic Castle
The teacups...who doesn't LOVE the teacups!!! Our girly teacup didnt spin much!

Grandaddy rode every single ride...even the really big ones!

Breakfast with the Disney characters was a ball!

Everything was mickey shaped...even the waffles!

We reunited the aggie crew plus one longhorn (can you guess which one) for a great dinner at Mi Cocina. It was special to see out of town friends and meet little Luke!! Were glad that Lor is no longer out of town and we get to see her more often!
PS. If youre wondering who the random kid is holding my hand...its Dillan from Kennedy's swim class that we ran into and he really wanted to hold my hand in the picture! They were so excited to see each other!

Isnt he a cutie pie??!!!

Our annual trip to Port A at Brookie's house! Its a huge group of college and high school friends and we always have such a good time and make LOTS of memories!! Paddle ball, dance costumes, spicy trouble, poolside, a game of signs, and lots o fun!
Birthday boys and the annual icing fight!

We have a big shrimp boil on Saturday night that is SUPER spicy!!!

The girls always have the trusty mac n cheese to fall back on! Especially if we do extra spicing...did we do it this year??? No one will ever know!! :)

Happy Birthday Cookie...what a special celebration honoring a special lady at Aunt Kathy's with the Wood women!
A playdate with Jeffie and Sam! Loreno was there too! We enjoyed catching up over lunch and watching the two little ones play! Were both pregnant together again which is fun!

June Bug's first snow cone...can you tell how excited she is??!!! We figured the best way to eat it was poolside with no clothes!
Do yall remember Kerri Strugg who won the USA gold a few years ago after hurting her ankle on the vault??!!! YOU CAN DO IT! I think Kennedy was bigger than she was!
