We had such a special Christmas and in many ways it felt like Kennedy's first considering last year she was only 10 days old! Let the Christmas marathon begin as we celebrate the most special time of the year.....
All of the family gathers for the Christmas eve service at Gran and Grandaddy's church and then a big turkey dinner back at their house!
Our little family of THREE!
JA and Emmy were just as excited as Kennedy to let the unwrapping begin!
We always give Grandaddy a special gift every year..this year it was a black and white photo of Kenendy with her blue eyes and the orange longhorn on her dress in color! He loved it!
Kennedy's most favorite gift of all ;) milk, pj's and mamaw's arms!
Ok let me explain the following pictures...its called slumber party of 8 grandkids and one snoring uncle all in one room! Kennedy had the best "crib" in the house as she slept peacefully and quietly downstairs! On the other hand, we had a good time sleeping in tradition all together and listening for the reindeer on the roof!

The lineup...we all look a little tired! Rise and shine its Christmas morning!
Please take note of the pink BB gun that Santa slipped into the pile! The shopping cart and play house door are a favorite as well as the wagon!! Santa always brought me a Madame Alexander doll and this year he brought Kennedy Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.
I love when Sugar sings to me and she's always SO very entertaning! We always count on her to get a fun game for all of us to play that morning. This year it was Deal or no Deal and we have quite the competitive bunch!
Christmas day we head over to the Wood's house for more celebrating! This year all of the brothers were in town and it was extra special watching Kennedy and Gaia play together!
Santa came to visit again...what a treat! I love my piano that has a little matching bench! Kennedy and Gaia had so much fun playing together!
Asher painted this beautiful portrait of Gaia
At the end of the long day we put on our pajamas and eat pizza and have a special Christmas with Mamaw! Papa is very excited about my matching bike helmet and I gave him a little seat that I can ride in on the back of his bike! yippee!
The colored ice sculptures were amazing. We bundled up in big blue parkas to stay warm! They even had giant ice slides to go down! On the way out we stopped by the life size ginger bread house and I wanted to eat it all up!
