This is how June Bug's third birthday started! Daddy pancakes and our traditional Max and Ruby dance! Kennedy loves cereal and Max and Ruby. She eats cereal 24-7 just like her mama and she likes a mixture like me too! Every once in awhile, especially on Saturdays though we trade cereal for Daddy's pancakes that they make together and that was the birthday breakfast for sure! They sang Max and Ruby on the kitchen island (a typical occurrence for Kennedy) and saw that Elfeba had gotten into our sprinkles, snow white cupcakes from our school bday party and even dressed up in Cinderella's gown!
She was soooo excited about her own little art table with a light and new markers! She likes to get "Daddy' work paper" and go to town with stamps and glue and glitter!
This singing candle was worth all $6! It sparkled and sang and she talked about it all day long!
We got to have lunch with your Bible study friends at northpark! Chic fil A..a true favorite! The scrooge puppet show did not lure us to the mall quite as many times at the year before when it was the Christmas puppets, but we sure did enjoy it a few times!
One of brother's favorite toys..the fisher price nativity set. He really enjoyed all of the Christmas decorations and toys this year!
We ended the night at Magic Time Machine with Sug and Papa. Its a place where all the waiters dress up and sing songs. The food is not all that great but its been around since I was little and had my bday party there and she loved it! Snow White, our favorite princess lately was our waitress! Nelson and I always laugh at how Kennedy and probably all little girls for that matter, just know about princesses! We didn't even have that much princess stuff at our house (until recently because shes in love with all of them) and somehow its just ingrained to love those Disney princesses and to want to be one! Dressing up as all of the characters has been a big hit lately. Dressing up, beauty salon, cooking, make up, art and reading are our daily activities. She especially likes to dress up in her old baby clothes. She is my chatty girl, super social, loves asking "how old are you?" and making friends. Spends the majority of the day singing or reading! Her memory amazes me and she is quite the entertainer. Not afraid to be on stage and not afraid to crack a good joke! Outsmarts all of us and is pure sunshine in our lives! I hope she always exuberates such joy and such passion for living life. She is so sweet to her baby brother and cares about him so much.
