We had such a great October! Filled with more than one visit to the state fair, the big Texas/OU game, lots of fun parties, pumpkin carvings, and of course Halloween!!!!
Tada.....
October would not be complete without a trip to the State Fair! This was her expression when she first spotted Big Tex. My parents have a miniature version of Big Tex at their house that Kennedy loves to talk to before she goes to bed...so she thought it was pretty neat to see him lifesize and he actually talks back! She kept saying "Big Tex talking"

The petting zoo was a favorite complete with goats, giraffes, a huge pig and her babies and even a camel!

Corny dogs took third place for June Bug's favorite fair activity but FIRST place for mommy and daddy!
This was an attempt to get a picture of our whole play group in costume...didnt work so well..this is not even half the crew! LOTS of almost two year olds running around in costume at our house was oh so cute though!
As we partied with the tiny tots on Baxtershire...Nellie was off to the mountains with two of his best friends, Fulton and John for an elk hunt. They packed in on horses to Wolf Creek in Colorado and enjoyed camping in the mountains!

Some fall fun at the park has been so enjoyable! She looks so tall and grown up in these pictures! I remember when she couldn't climb up all by herself.

Back to the fair for the Texas/O WHO game?? It was such an exiting game and more fair treats is always a plus!
Sugar and Papa were so sweet to play with the kids and entertain them at the fair while we went to the game! They rode the rides, played on the boulevard, won lots of prizes and ate TONS of goodies...I think cotton candy was the favorite!
Does everyone remember this cute duo?? They used to be our Texas Longhorn softball coaches and they are still so cute!

A Texas OU party at Erin's cute new house with YaYa! We are so blessed by good friends!
Oh the infamous Parker the bunny at school! We just adore him morning and afternoon!
June Bug's cute little class at "school" had a Fall party! As you can see, she is much more into the baby dolls than the pumpkin activity!

We had so much fun at the Northwest Bible Halloween carnival! Daddy and June Bug took a little train ride together and then we had a delicious lasagna dinner with grandmother and pops to end the evening!

She loved the white pony and would wave like this everytime she came by! She was kept singing Shoo fly dont bother me because the flys were on his mane!

Pumpkin carving on our front porch was soooo much fun!
Before Trick or treating we went to celebrate our friend Caroline's second birthday!
Sugar and I had so much fun making June Bug's bumble bee costume buzz! She hand made the tutu from scratch and glitzed it up!

We ended the night with the fall festival at Gran and Grandaddy's church that we grew up going to as kids! It was such a surprise to see everyone decked out in costume! Look at this fun crew...they really went all out and June Bug loved it!!!
We had a great time trick or treating and passing out candy at Gran and Grandaddys house! Nellie was the doorkeeper and speaker of Spanish to all of the ninos! June Bug really got into it this year and would walk up the door and say "trick or treat" and wait for her candy! She was on such a sugar high that night!
Trick or Treat!!!!!
